March Meeting

L’Anse aux Meadows

Be sure to join our March 8th meeting for a presentation about L’Anse aux Meadows, a chance to socialize with like-minded people, and snacks.

L’Anse aux Meadows is an archaeological site, first excavated in the 1960s. It contains the remnants of a Norse settlement dating to about 1000 CE, or 500 years before Christopher Columbus reached North America. The site is near St. Anthony on the northernmost tip of Newfoundland.
